World Cup Contest Rules

ENTRY IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THE GENERAL AND THESE OFFICIAL RULES (See General Rules)

Deadline

The deadline ("TERMINAL DATE") for registering and entering submissions for the contest is June 9th, 2006 at 9:00am (Pacific Daylight Time).

How to play

STEP 1

Contestants must pick the Winner and 2nd Place of the First Round of the World Cup Tournament for each World Cup Group. These 16 teams are matched in the Round of 16 (2nd Round) based on the FIFA World Cup Elimination system. Once submited these selections cannot be changed.

STEP 2

Fill in the Bracket by picking the Winner of each game all the way to the FIFA World Cup Champion. Once you submit your selections, you are all set.

The Bracket

Once the bracket has been submitted, the contestant is officially participating. Submitted brackets are final. First Round and Bracket picks cannot be changed once they have been submitted and requests to make changes to a submitted bracket will be ignored.

Only one entry per person, household or IP address is allowed, so make sure of your choices before sending in your picks. Additional entries by the same individual, household or IP address will disqualify ALL entries from that person or household. The checks will only be made out to the registered account owner and sent to the address listed on the account. Taxes are the responsibility of the winners.

Games will be graded and the bracket results updated at the end of each round.

Point System

The Point System is as follows :

• 1st Round
Pick Winner of each Group = 5 pts each
Pick 2nd Place of each Group = 3 pts each

• Round of 16 (2nd Round) = 7 pts

• Quarterfinals = 10 pts

• Semifinals = 13 pts

• Final = 15 pts

Prize Structure

Prizes will be determined by the correct picks Step 1 and Step 2 of the World Cup Contest bracket and the cumulative total of points scored by each contestant. In the event of a tie, cash prizes will be split between those who tied. Winners will be notified by E-mail, phone, mail and /or overnight courier within seven (7) days after the determination date. Prize winners must sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and publicity/liability release within ten (10) days following attempted notification on prizes worth over $500. Failure to comply within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Any prize/prize notification returned as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. It is the responsibility of the entrant to keep all mailing and E-mail information up-to-date and accurate. Winners should allow up to 3-4 weeks after they return their signed, notarized affidavit to receive their prize. By accepting a prize, the winner grants Bracketcontest.com and/or it's sponsors to use names, photographs, and other info for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation.

Top 5 in Points - Cash Prizes (No restrictions)

Top 5 point winners will get Cash Prizes as follows :

• 1st Place - $10,000

• 2nd Place - $5,000

• 3rd Place - $2,500

• 4th Place - $1,500

• 5th Place - $1,000

* ALL PRIZES WILL DOUBLE for Jazz Casino & Sportsbook, ABC Islands Sportsbook and Looselines Sportsbook Account Holders with Active Account (extra funds will be in the form of Betting Script).

* All Betting Scripts MUST BE wagered 5 times before a withdraw can be made.

Prize for Jazz Casino & Sportsbook and ABC Islands Sportsbook Account Holders with Active Account - Perfect Bracket Prize - $100,000

It's this simple -- be the only contestant to choose the correct teams in Step 1 and the WINNERS in Step 2 for every game of the tournament, and you'll win $100,000 (* see prizes page for more info). The prize will be split among the winners. The prize will be paid out over a period of 5 years. You must have an active account at JazzSports.com and ABCIslands.com to qualify for this Prize.

An Active Account is defined as having funds and having played at least 25% of ALL World Cup Games.
