Squares Contests
Get Your Squares. Wait for the Numbers. Follow the Score.
Squares contests are a simple and exciting way to compete while following the score of a sporting event.
At BracketContest, players receive squares on a contest grid either by choosing their available squares or having squares randomly assigned, depending on the format of the individual contest.
The numbers aren't drawn until after the game has started, so players don't know which scoring-number combinations their squares will represent when the contest begins.
How Squares Contests Work
Choose a Squares Contest
Select an available Squares contest for the game or sporting event you want to follow.
Get Your Squares
Depending on the contest format, choose your squares from the available boxes on the grid or have your squares randomly assigned.
The Game Begins
Once the game has started, the numbers for each team are randomly drawn and assigned to the rows and columns of the grid.
Discover Your Numbers
After the numbers are assigned, each square represents a unique scoring-number combination for the two competing teams.
Follow the Score
As the game progresses, designated scoring periods are matched against the numbers on the grid to determine the winning square.
Win by the Numbers
Prizes are awarded according to the winning periods and payout structure established for that particular Squares contest.
No Need to Pick the Winner
Squares are different from traditional sports prediction contests.
You don't need to predict which team will win, select a point spread, or forecast the final score.
- Get your squares
- Wait for the numbers
- Follow the score
- See if your square wins
Every BracketContest Squares contest displays its square-assignment method, winning periods, prize structure, and contest rules before participation.
